SEEDS University supports gifted students from economically disadvantaged families to attend university and for future success. Students receive scholarships throughout their 4 years in university covering tuition, living expenses, soft skills training and volunteer activities to give back to their communities.
In the 2017-2018 school year, SEEDS University is supporting 336 students studying at top universities in Hue, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.

> Improve soft skills for students through training sessions
> Raise students’ social awareness through volunteer work
WHAT WE PROVIDE
Students receive scholarships throughout their 4 years in university covering:
Financial aid: SEEDS has three scholarship amounts:
(1) 64,000,000 VND/4 years (single scholarship)
(2) 96,000,000 VND /4 years (plus 50% scholarship)
(3) 128,000,000 VND/4 years (double scholarship)
The second and third amounts are given to students who come from extremely poor or very poor families, are attending a university with very high tuition, and who have great potential for future success.
Laptop support: SEEDS provides 70% of the laptop value while eligible students matches 30%. This support is expected to create a drive for students to achieve higher performance at university.
Soft skills training: SEEDS provides soft skills training to enhance students’ competence for future success.
Professional & Social Skills Training: We equip university students with the professional and social skills to increase job opportunities after graduation.
English learning assistance: Support highly potential students with English courses like IELTS, TOEIC to help them achieve an English standard for graduation requirement and improve their English skills to succeed in the workforce.
Volunteer work: Students plan and organize volunteer activities to give back to their community, helping to increase their awareness and responsibility to society.
Dental Care: Students are given access to dental care and treatments.
STUDENT SELECTION
Students are selected among SEEDS students and students at gifted high schools in Quang Tri, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, based on a combination of merit and need. Eligible students must:
> Be verified as “extremely poor,” “very poor,” or “poor”
> Pass an interview
> Be accepted into a public institution on our Tier 1 List
STUDENT CONTINUATION
Students must complete three requirements regarding academic performance, personal development and volunteer work to maintain their scholarship:
> Achieve a cumulative GPA of at least 5.0 (out of 10.0) or 2.0 (out of 4.0)
> Attend at least one training activity or participate in a soft skill club
> Attend at least one volunteer activity per school year
