SCHOLARSHIP TO ELEVATE EDUCATION & DEVELOP SKILLS (SEEDS)

"I was once an average student because I  didn't have time to focus on my studies, and I thought of dropping out of school to help my parents farm. Fortunately, with the support and encouragement from SEEDS, I passed the high school entrance exam and for three years in a row, I  was the top student in my class. I also received many awards in science and technology. My hard work and determination paid off when I got accepted into my dream medical school."

I helped many SEEDS students successfully apply for good internships by giving them tips, reviewing their CV, and doing mock interviews with them. "My father died of lung cancer when I was in the 8th grade. My mother suddenly became the main supporter of the family and my 21-year-old brother had to drop out of university. SEEDS scholarships help cover my tuition fees, which allow my mother to save money and pay off our debt. Next year, I will be a student at Fulbright University, Class of 2025. Without the support and valuable advice from SEEDS, I could not accomplish these achievements. All I can say now is 'THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR EVERYTHING.'"

For almost 20 years, Gil Kemp, Eric Hemel, and his wife Barbara Morgan have supported thousands of disadvantaged students in rural areas of Central Vietnam. Every year, they would travel to Vietnam to go on long field trips and meet the students. They are long-term donors, who have supported the program tremendously with new initiatives and ideas for fundraising.
