Building a brighter future
We increase the availability of quality early childhood education
The Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) program, launched in 2001, brings experts from the US and Vietnam together for a series of semi-annual workshops on early childhood education topics. ECCE addresses the need for childhood education and development in rural communities and improves the overall quality of early childhood education in Vietnam.
We focus on...
Collaboration and quality learning
The ECCE program aims to provide collaboration opportunities, forum, quality learning, hands-on experience, and discussion among professionals working in the area of early childhood education in Vietnam and ECCE experts from the US.
Professional knowledge and skills for early childhood education
The training is designed as individual sessions on divergent topics such as physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development, language, environment, learning disability, and classroom management with hands-on learning, creative teaching aids, and child-centered pedagogy.
We implement...
Early Childhood Education (ECCE) Workshops
ECCE organizes semi-annual trainings for teachers and administrators from care centers and schools in remote areas in Hue, Ha Noi, Da Nang, Quang Nam, An Giang, and Vinh Long.
Health Education Initiative (HEI)
HEI provides professional and high-quality trainings on pediatric first aid for Vietnamese teachers and childcare providers in Vietnam (PedFACTs - Vietnam) with access to updated techniques to perform CPR and first aid for children.
Parenting Workshops
ECCE collaborates with the Center for School Cooperation and Humanity Education, Elite Bilingual School, GreenLeaf Learning Center in Vietnam, and International Children Assistance Network (ICAN) in California and to organize workshops on childcare for parents.
We are proud of...

Resilience
“Through this training, I learned new methods to help the children that I am teaching. I understand more about children’s emotions and what we should and should not say to them.”

Courage
“Participating in the early childhood workshops gives me a chance to learn innovative methods of taking care and working with young children, as well as ways to pursue a healthy life as a working woman. I know that and as a teacher I can play an important role
in promoting health awareness. The workshop materials are concise and well presented. They show a sound grasp of theoretical issues and understanding for working directly with children while the hands-on experiences encourage exploration and learning.”
